CE Lummus Construction Company
Started with Lummus as Equipment Superintendent on a local multi-million dollar Petro Chemical project. Was later transferred to São Paulo, Brazil and given the responsibility of a fleet of rental equipment. Was responsible for operations, maintenance, and transporting of the equipment which was scattered throughout Brazil. This assignment lasted for two years.

Was transferred back to Houston and assigned the task of purchasing equipment parts, tools, etc. for a 2 billion dollar Petro Chemical project in Basrah, Iraq. Was later assigned to the Iraq project and promoted to Construction Superintendent. Was in charge of all crafts.

After a short time in Iraq, was transferred to Venezuela and promoted to General Manager of the Lummus Rental Fleet Operation throughout Venezuela. Revenue increased and we had about 95% of the equipment out on rent. Remained in Venezuela for a little over one year.

Was in charge of equipment rental and sales in my assigned territory. Tripled the revenue of my territory within the first three months.
Prior to 1971 Operated hydraulic & conventional cranes (to 300 ton capacity) excavators, trenchers, dozers, loaders, et ceteras for various contractors.
